This direct trade coffee comes from Cafe Tio Conejo, and Ivanov Castellanos, a farmer we first met in 2019 at Coffee Fest NYC. Ivanov prioritizes fair wages and conditions for the workers on the farm including health care. Their utmost care is implored in their ecologically sustainable growing practices.This coffee is from a region called Tatamá which is a big area in Risaralda department of reservation with a lot of wind and volcanic soils. This coffee is a blend of Carurra and Castillo from an association called Asotatamá. The average altitude is 1500 and can come up to 1800 above sea level.
